Hi,
I have an Asus RT-AC68U with Asuswrt-Merlin 384.13
I was struggling with a webpage (hvg.hu) as it was loading quite slowly on my android tablet, so I started to play with some DNS settings (changed to Google DNS 8.8.8.8, enabled DNS rebind protection, DNSSEC support, etc). This solved the issue with hvg.hu, but since then there are some pages which don't load at all (eg freemail.hu). I undo the changes I did before, but it just doesn't work since then.
Very strange. I can do ping and traceroute towards these pages, so DNS can resolve the addresses, but they timeout when I try to reach them in the browser. I flushed the browser cache, restarted the router and the ISP router as well, but these didn't help.
Interestingly enough, if I use VPN, these pages work as well.
Any idea?
