I am looking for a stable router. My r7000 kept losing wifi and slow internet. So is this a quality router? Is there options to reboot once a day. Also can an external hard drive be used as a media server without passwords but also be remotely added to easily. Thanks for all ideas

You could try the Synology RT2600AC, I wanted to say Netgear R7800 but considering the ability of Netgear to make bad firmware i would say pass for their products (I had a R7000 an from begining I had problems, i was a “lab rat” for their firmware, every beta firmware was bad, they could’t fix the ipv6 pppoe in 2 years)

Yeap I know the lab rate feeling. Would get one that work then next one no internet. Got tired of family say Dad internet is down.
