RT-AC3200 Wireless clients do no show up.

New Around Here
ASUS RT-AC3200 with Merlin 384.9

So this in an ongoing issue that I ran across quite a few times.
It's finally getting to me. lol
I have some wireless clients that I want to restrict on the network for Parental Control.
  1. Hisence TV wifi
  2. LG Optimus Verizon cell phone
These 2 refuse to get shown up on the network as Clients.
They can be actively steaming content et.. and nothing.
I look on the device and get IP it gets from my wireless network. I look at my Asus router and that IP is not listed as a client. The only thing I can do is control it by MAC address by finding it on the device itself.
However these are the 2 that I found so far.., how many others could there be?

And sometimes they mysteriously appear for unknown reasons. I have experienced it myself. And the bar wasn't open yet...

lol
I guess I must manually track every freaking device in my house as I add it to the network.
My problem what that I need to use time restriction so my kids don't play on the tablets and phones all night and it's kind of hard to kill switch them at certain time if you don't know they are connected.

Two routers, one behind the other. The second router is the kid's connection. At 8 PM or so, turn it off and lock the power adaptor in a safe place. :)

Sounds like a great idea of forcing multiple router sales to one household while advertising that the 1st router you're buying will do it all to begin with.

Just to clarify; I don't sell any equipment. :)

lol. I was poking fun at ASUS. :)
I already have 3 routers, just impractical for me unfortunately. They can run to my bedroom when I am not at home and watch TV, if I disable it then I must go and enable it if I watch to watch.. etc.
Worst part is that my in-laws are here and no matter how many times I say no... it never works . lol
