RT-AC5300 - how to remove Asus HGG 380.62 and install stock fw?

Hi,
Does anyone know how to install Asus stock fw on a RT-AC5300 which has a HGG 380.62 firmware installed? I went through the usual firmware upgrade route but got an error, also tried the Asus firmware restoration utility but that failed also. Any tips?

ok managed to do it. Had to downgrade to HGG fw 380.59 and then upgrade to latest Asus stock fw. Should have read the readme file which comes with Mr Gomes' fw...duh!
