New Around Here
Hi,

I get multiple errors in history similar to the one above:

Dec 2 15:13:32 lld2d[459]: packetio_recv_handler: g_opcode 8 with seq=22106 (from realsrc=f0:82:61:e1:f8:5a) is illegal; dropping

realsrc being the Internet provider box to which RT AC68 is linked by a cable ethernet connection.

Can anybody help me understand what this error means and how to spot and correct the problem?

Hi guys,

Anyone knows? as I have the same and couldn't find explanation on google:

  1. Oct 26 08:25:21 lld2d[507]: packetio_recv_handler: g_opcode 8 with seq=54602 (from realsrc=48:83:c7:38:0d:60) is illegal; dropping

My concern to see these lines when I am behind a Service Provider ADSL box (Orange Livebox Play) which should normally block incoming packets so normally my Asus router should not receive those as he is not set as a DMZ and neither with port forwarding.
  1. Oct 26 08:28:20 kernel: DROP IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=1c:b7:2c:c2:0d:b0:48:83:c7:38:0d:60:08:00 SRC=5.101.7.147 DST=192.168.1.2 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=242 ID=11853 PROTO=TCP SPT=56962 DPT=3701 SEQ=260968280 ACK=0 WINDOW=1024 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0
  2. Oct 26 08:28:22 kernel: DROP IN=eth0 OUT= MAC=1c:b7:2c:c2:0d:b0:48:83:c7:38:0d:60:08:00 SRC=5.101.7.147 DST=192.168.1.2 LEN=40 TOS=0x00 PREC=0x00 TTL=242 ID=35918 PROTO=TCP SPT=56962 DPT=3986 SEQ=1956424892 ACK=0 WINDOW=1024 RES=0x00 SYN URGP=0

Is there a parameter to harden the security in the router?

Merci
XabiX
