RT-AC68U V3 Core #2 Pegged to 100%?

It's running 3.0.0.4.386_43129. I rebooted it and Core2 goes back to 100%. Should I reload firmware?

How long was it at 100% before you rebooted the router?

Do you have a USB drive attached? If so, do you have the Media Server enabled?

It goes to 100% right after I log in after reboot. I am not using USB on router. I am using it in AP mode. Not sure what Media Server is.

In that case all I can suggest is that you SSH into the AP and run top to see what's consuming the CPU.

I found the UPnP Media Server setting,. It was ON and I turned it OFF however Core2 still at 100%.

I can't ssh in. I have ssh server on (telnet off) and am refused connection. Using MacOS Terminal's 'ssh' command.

Checked the log file and realized the router never executed the remote reboot! Unplugged power to reboot...problem fixed.
