New Around Here
Dear all,

I have just received the RT-AC86U wireless router and installed the latest (stable) Merlin firmware. I used to have Cisco Meraki and you can see what each device is doing/how much they have downloaded and also set bandwidth limits per device (I am expecting Adaptive QoS will be the equivalent regarding the bandwidth)

Anyway, when I go into Traffic Analyzer -> Statistics I get the below with no information.

I have configured to use my USB drive

Does this router actually support device level monitoring?

thanks

You didn't enable it (your screenshot shows it still set to "Off").

Also, Traffic Analyzer has nothing to do with Traffic Monitoring - two totally different features.

Doh - the obvious is usually right in front of me. I think (my excuse anyway) the 'Introduction Demo' right next to it mis-lead me (embarrassed smile).

As traffic monitoring is totally different, how do I view the data? Is there a 3rd party tool I need or something?

thanks

It's on the Traffic Monitor tab.

You click on the "Traffic Monitor" tab in your first screen shot. It shows you a real-time graph of the traffic going through the router.
