RT-BE96U latest firmware appears to break DNS - 3.0.0.4.106_32460

Purchased the router on day one. Was working great until upgraded to latest firmware 3.0.0.4.106_32460 this morning. DNS no matter what settings I tried, would not resolve through router. I even tried manual DNS to google 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 but still no love to network devices. I turned on hotspot on my phone and got last firmware from ASUS and reloaded it. Old code was 3.0.0.6.102_31763 Once manually loaded to router, it is back to working just fine again.

I had a similar issue with the latest firmware. Couldn’t get things to work at all with it. Back to the original firmware, and things largely back to normal.

I updated my BE96U to firmware 3.0.0.6.102_32460 over-the-air using the firmware update in the router’s Firnware Update interface. No issues so far.

Having the same issues upgrading firmware. No internet post the upgrade. Despite having WAN IP. Have tried changing DNS but still nothing. Had to downgrade to get it working.

32872 is better, stable for me, not experiencing any DNS problem using DoT. Actually, I now see 32882 on the firmware download site now, should try that one next.

Update: 32882 looks fine, too. Doing well, but only up a couple of days so far.
