New Around Here
Hi everyone,

I have a RT-N66U that was working great for 1 year. I had tomatousb -shibby v116 in it (tomato-RT-N66U_RT-AC6x--116-AIO-64K). Then, I decided to try last Merlin's firmware (RT-N66U_3.0.0.4_374.42_0). My nightmare begins here...

First, I flashed it with the CFE mini web server (pushing reset while router off, then releasing it, then flash it...). Until there, everything was fine. The router did boot correctly but I noticed my hdd was not detected in Merlin's fw so I decided to flash it back to shibby but to version v 117.

Pain in the... Everything but troubles. I tried TFTP, web browser (CFE web server), Firmware restoration tool by ASUS nothing could work and the router was stuck in a booting loop (power led flashing). After trying and trying, I succeeded flashing tomatousb BUT now my hdd's are not seen in tomato. Worse, when I click on USB and NAS menu, the router freezes and reboot. I don't know what to do since it has been 2 days of pain with my router. I tried to flash few FW but it's everytime the same with no USB HDD support AND instability as my router is rebooting frequently. Clearly, there's something wrong... I managed to connect serial to see what is happening and I need your help to tell me what is wrong. Please!

Thanks in advance.

Here is the serial messages received after booting:

OMG I found

Ok, I found the first problem: I had an internal 8 GO SDcard for datalogging. Removing it and problem gone.

Now, the last problem, my eth2 WIFI 5GHz is not working...
