RT-N66U Power button doesn't stay on

As of yesterday my power button doesn't stay in anymore,
Kinda weird it breaks when I never touch it.
Any one else had this,
And how did you solve it ?
I tried duck tape but it lets go because off the heat of the router

No problem, there are a few clever ideas on that thread to hold the button down. It's unfortunate that happens but it does. I wonder how hard it would be to open the router and just solder a jumper wire across the switch were it solders to the circuit board then just use the power cord to power up and down. Anyway Good Luck !
