RT-N66U reboots when accessing web interface

New Around Here
For the past two releases (380.57 and 380.58), after flashing the firmware, resetting NVRAM, and using the setup wizard to set up the router as a media bridge, when attempting to access the router's web interface using a browser, it reboots. If I don't configure the router as a media bridge I can access the web interface as normal. The problem occurs as soon as I configure the router as a media bridge and connect to my existing wireless access point. Note that once it connects, routing and accessing the Internet works fine for all connected clients. But as soon as I attempt to log into the web interface via a browser, the router reboots every time. I'm not sure how to even go about troubleshooting this since I can't access the web interface. Are there any logs I can look at or other things I can check from the console?

although its not a normal condition why is there a need to access the gui of the media bridge once connected as it has no control , your main router is doing all the hard work including routing , dhcp firewall etc etc

after flashing the firmware, resetting NVRAM,

did you also try factory resetting the 66u just for kicks as it could help

just for info are you connecting to 5 gig or 2.4 gig to the main router ?

It's not a huge deal but it would nice to be able to view the GUI from time to time to monitor things. Plus I wanted to report the bug and see if anyone else has experienced this.

By factory reset, you mean a 30/30/30 reset, correct? I have done that several times.

Connecting via 2.4 ghz to the main router.

Are there any log files I can check via shell access that might give more information?

There is no such thing as a 30/30/30 reset for Asus routers (or at least it is ineffective).

I was not aware of that. I followed the instructions in the post you linked to but the problem remains. Any other ideas?
