RT-N66U static IP block

Hi

We are looking to buy an RT-N66U but we need the ability to forward IP address to internal address not just port forward. For example we have a block of addresses 1.1.1.1 to 1.1.1.8 on the WAN side for example and 192.168.1.101 to 106 on the LAN side. Can we easily setup a rule 1.1.1.1 traffic gets sent to 192.168.1.101, 1.1.1.2 to 192.168.1.102 and so on for the 6 usable addresses we have.

If we can where can we get the information to do this or is any one able to give me some pointers? Is there something better we could use?

The feature you are looking for sounds like 1-to-1 nat, for which you need pairs of symmetric iptables rules, see

for an example.

I assume something similar possible with Asuswrt-Merlin?

Might need some tweaks, but should be doable through a nat-start or firewall-start script.
