scMerlin scMerlin 2.5.30 - Service and script control menu for Asuswrt-Merlin

Yes, problem solved on all pages.

Fantastic. Okay so here's the deal. @alan6854321 @ColDen @Ripshod @visortgw

I'll spend some time this evening seeing if I can solve the issue with the Network Map page outside of the "initial login" phase for firmware 3006. (It does work on firmware 3004)
Otherwise, I'm not gonna fuss over it. And I'll submit a PR to Martinski or thelonelycoder which are much more talented than I am for a review.

Thanks for testing!

Apparently, the update scenario (i.e., download, launch and force update) does not work on 3006.102 WiFi 6 and 3004 — clean install does in fact return that string.

I just ran a test on both mine (upgrading from the production version) without issue here on both my 3006 and 3004 routers.

Ah, it could be since I tried to update from prior test version — it only worked on GT-BE98 Pro.

Can you re-run your suite of tests and confirm? I haven't made a change to the code on Github in about an hour now

As in try update from production, or run tests as is after verifying latest version?

As in try to update from production version on any device that might of made you feel it wasn't working, so uninstall whatever is there. Install the production version from AMTM. And then download and run mine with the force update to confirm

Uninstalled, installed production, downloaded your latest, launched scMerlin, and forced update on all three (3) — version test confirms latest on all three (3).

Phase II: Network Map temporarily breaks both 3006.102 devices, but not 3004.388 device. Everything else appears to be fixed.

I hope to find something about the Network Map tonight when I have more time; but like I said I won't make a fuss if that's the only thing.
It works on 3006 when you initially login; outside of that it doesn't fire off again for some reason. But does in 3004.

But it works again on 3006 as soon as you select another main main item...

Might this possibly give you a hint? This single __HIDE__ dropdown appears when I hover over the Network Map menu button after navigating to the Sitemap page:

Clicking the scMerlin tab in the Addons dropdown takes me to the Sitemap. Everything else is fine.

Unable to reproduce this one.

No issue with selecting scMerlin tab in the Addons dropdown on any of my three (3) devices.

The problem I'm seeing with the latest version is clicking on either "Network Map" or "System Log" kills the dropdowns until I click off those pages. Tried CTRL+F5 and no change.
Everything else is still looking good.
*edit* Does this help at all?

Interesting; same firmware as mine.
@visortgw do you have this issue? Or @ColDen / @Ripshod
Sorry for the delay (back now)...
No, the dropdowns always come back as-soon-as I clink on another option than the one that we well know about now.

In my case, on the GT-AX6000, it's working as expected.

A reboot didn't fix it, but manually entering the userX.asp for scMerlin in my browser's address bar seems to have cleared something.
Everything is now as expected.

Just noticed something with the "Addons" dropdown, which was not present (to the best of my recollection) during my tests this morning, now it's seem that when I select the first one (in my case Unbound) then the dropdowns no longer work but it dosn't do that with any of the other ones:

P.S: I am using your latest one: curl --retry 3 "https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ExtremeFiretop/scMerlin/refs/heads/master/scmerlin.sh" -o "/jffs/scripts/scmerlin" && chmod 755 "/jffs/scripts/scmerlin"

I found another issue (I just redo all my tests twice on all dropdowns), this one with the "System Log" and "General Log"like for "Addons":

Note that I am using the Scribe addon that enhance the "General Log" option.

I know you said you did a hard fresh but maybe some kinda cache thing? If you ever notice it again try in a private browser window, if it still continues re-report it :)
