Security Problem on RT-BE88U same on RT-AX88U re Dual WAN Enabled - Running Merlin 3006.102.6 on RT-BE88U re below 4 screengrabs.

Trend Micro Ai Protection is enabled and upon pressing the “Scan” button reports that all is secure.

Now Enable Dual WAN at “WAN” > “Dual Wan” Tab – allow Router to reboot as requested.

Trend Micro Ai Protection now says “Router Security Assessment 1 Risk” click on “1 Risk” and a pop-up screen reports that “UPnP Service Disabled NO”.

Go to “WAN” > “Internet Connection” (if necessary, select your original primary internet connection under “WAN Index” > “WAN Type”) and UPnP is still shown as switched off and there is no separate UPnP on the secondary internet connection to be found.

It is noted that this happens before you make any settings or adjustments related to the second WAN connection and before anything is plugged in to the Routers USB port.

Have I overlooked a setting to correct this Security Problem? Or is this actually a Security hole created for all WAN connections just by enabling Dual WAN?

Above are four screengrabs for clarity and a RT-BE88U settings file has also been uploaded for scrutiny.

Having said all of that the Second Backup WAN via a tethered Mobile phone to Routers USB3 works just fine with automatic failover and failback - just do not want to expose a security hole in the process.
