Setting up QoS on Merlin RT-AC86U

I have an asymmetrical Internet connection from Spectrum, provisioned at 400/20. I was looking to implement merlin's fq_codel to minimize the bufferbloat in my LAN. Are there any good step by step instructions out there? Thanks!
