Slow Asus xt8 vpn performance

How can my old asus ac86u outperform my new asus xt8? Im using expressvpn openvpn my speed is 100mbps the speed im getting in my ausus ac86u is 80mbps how come my xt8 is only getting 30mbps. Help needed. Using same server for both routers.

Intresting, does anyone know if the gt-ax11000 supports hardware accelerated aes? I can't find it in thé specificaties?

And if i use the gt-ax11000 with an xt8 node Will the Speed be better with a VPN connection.

Yes it does.

It should, provided the remote server and your ISP aren't your bottleneck.

There is nothing to fix, as I said that model does not support it. You'd have to change router model for one that supports it.
