Skynet Standard banmalware list counts less banned IPs

A few weeks ago, the standard banmalware list covered ~300.000 IPs.
Now, it went gradually down to only ~44608 IPs.
Why?
And can someone recommend a bigger, well maintained list?
 
Why do you think it means the list isn`t well maintained? More IPs does not always mean better, it can mean a lot of incorrect entries blocking legitimate sites.

You should talk to the maintainer of the list if you want to know what were those removed IPs.
 
@Ubimo I've been curious myself, but as Rmerlin points out, it's not really a skynet issue.

I'm not sure if there is some running commentary by some of the list maintainers on how they do larger updates (of if I'd really want to read it).
