Switch causes low throughput on LAN port of Wireless Router

The question is more LAN related than WLAN related, but as it involves wireless routers, I post the question here.

Computers are connected to a Netgear GS608 gigabyte switch, which is connected to a router with a gigabit LAN ports.

The throughput is reduced to about 0.8mbps from the expected 70~80 mbps for two of the four routers I tested. Each of the routers have gigabit LAN ports. When connecting a PC either directly or through wireless, I was getting the expected throughput.

These two router have LOW throughput:

Netgear WDNR4500 N900 router
Asus RT-AC66U N1350 router

These two routers have NORMAL throughput:

Buffalo WZR-HP-G300NH
WD My Net N900

I do plan to replace the switch hoping to address the issue, but I would be interested if anyone has any suggestions on what is going. I don't like to address the issue, without understanding what issue I have addressed.

You should read this link below from here about the switch in question. I had these branded switches.

External link which points to Netgear posted thread about these switches in more detail.
