Hi,
been looking to buy this device in the UK - the price is very aggressive but there's not much on the internet about it.
What reports I've read, have so far been good (is that the general feeling here?). But i'm worried about the amount of RAM (128mb) and the speed of CPU (800Mhz) on this device. All the other devices i have been looking at have much higher specs e.g. Qnap TS-219P (1.2Ghz & 512Mb RAM)
Does anyone know what area this will cause problems?
I want to stream music to more than 1 squeezebox device and to my PS3, access the files stored outside my local network and backing up the entire NAS to a external hard drive periodically. Will this be more than enough to cope? It's hard to find info on what NAS'es can handle at the same time e.g. Kids watching video in their rooms, Mum listening to music in the kitchen and Dad accessing files for his work.
