System health alerts?

Merlin, would you be interested in a patch that implemented a basic "system health" alert in the Web GUI? I'm thinking to the right of the SSID indicators at the top of each page.

The issue where minidlna fills up the tmpfs is the main motivation here and would probably just start as a way to inform the user if their tmpfs is filled or nearing capacity, but could certainly include other system checks (low memory, high load, etc).

Thoughts?

that would be a good idea. but i guess for now just changed the mnt location to your usb partition. that would cleared out the tmpfs and put the minidlna database on the usb partition

Thanks for offering, but I'd rather not. This wouldn't really help people having issues, since hey will probably still notice the problem when their router stops working rather than by actually seeing a notification on the webui in time to determine that something is wrong.
