TP Link Powerline Adapter tripping circuit breaker

craphoot

New Around Here
I recently moved to a new apartment and purchased TP Link AV1200 powerline adapters to avoid running a cable to my basement. Within a few days, the circuit breaker for my living room started tripping repeatedly. Once I removed the adapter from the outlet there the issue went away.

I moved the adapter a few feet into my kitchen which is on a different circuit. Now tonight (5 days later) the circuit breaker for my kitchen kept tripping. I unplugged the adapter, and now things are fine again.

Is this common? Any solutions?

Should not happen. Return the product as defective.
