Hi guys, I installed transmission on my RT-AC68u but Transmission is dying after some time (about 2 hours). When this happens I just restart using /opt/etc/init.d/S88transmission start and Transmissions works great again.

I'm trying to discover what is happening, but I don't how to do it. I read some topics and I generated some logs using "transmission-daemon --logfile" and got this:

[2021-05-03 15:02:40.144] Couldn't bind port 51413 on 0.0.0.0: Address already in use (Is another copy of Transmission already running?) (net.c:452)
[2021-05-03 15:02:40.237] Couldn't bind port 51413 on ::: Address already in use (Is another copy of Transmission already running?) (net.c:452)
[2021-05-03 15:02:40.237] UDP Couldn't bind IPv4 socket (tr-udp.c:335)
[2021-05-03 15:04:33.144] RPC Server Unable to bind to 0.0.0.0:9091 after 10 attempts, giving up (rpc-server.c:827)
[2021-05-03 15:32:21.147] transmission-daemon Failed to daemonize: pthread_create() failed (11): Resource temporarily unavailable (daemon.c:872)

I think when I had fewer torrents added (today I have 34 torrents alive), Transmissions was dying fewer times, about 1 time a day. This could be a lack of resources like router RAM or something else?

Thanks for any help

Hi,

Just curious: you have Transmission without active swap?

Thank you!

Simplest you can go to the Tools menu, at memory chapter. Like atasheed. Hope this helps.
