Transmission on AC2900 daemon fail to start

Hi to everybody, I do not have a great deal of expertise in this area.
I followed the guide to install transmission in my new Asus AC2900 with last merlin installed and I had no problems, no errors.

The operations I performed are as follows:

1. formatted usb key in EXT3 as per guide
2. Installed Entware The easy way
3. carried out all operations as specified for Transmission

Then I've restarted the router and entered the command:

/opt/etc/init.d/S88transmission start

but I always get this string as my answer:

Starting transmission-daemon... failed.


Can anyone help me to solve the problem?

What output do you get if you run with debug/verbose output?

sh -x /opt/etc/init.d/S88transmission start
