I have an Asus RT-AX86U running Merlin 3004.388.11. I have just switched my main Internet service provider to Vodafone FTTP service (UK).
After a bit of research I can get the router working fine by selecting a PPPoE WAN connection using the credentials provided by Vodafone and (for some strange reason) in the LAN -> IPTV settings entering the VLAN-ID 911 required by CityFibre.
However I have a 4G dongle plugged into one of the USB ports as a backup for when the main WAN fails.
It appears that when I set the VLAN-ID to 911 the dual WAN with failover is disabled. If I try to re-enable it, then the IPTV setting of the VLAN-ID is removed and my Vodafone FTTP connection is lost.
Is there any kind of work-around available that will let me use VLAN-ID 911 for my main connection, while still being able to use the 4G dongle as a backup?
If so, please advise how I can do this.
Many thanks in advance.
