My router firmware is sorely out of date (378_9313) and would like to update.

What recommendations do you all have for the version to update to and should this be done incrementally or just go straight for the highest suggested?

You can directly update to the latest version from the one you are currently using. I would recommend doing a factory default reset after upgrading, and manually reconfiguring everything since you are making a fairly major jump in version.

@RMerlin, thank you for the prompt reply. Just wanted to make sure jumping that many revs was doable.

The important thing in your specific case is to be on a firmware version that supports 64 MB firmware sizes. Your version does based on what I saw on Asus's tech support site.

For future ref.....64M rootfs was introduced with Asus 376_3626
