I have an N66U (running 374.43) behind my primary router (which is a different brand) and I would like to use the primary router in place of the WAN address (the two routers are connected by a cable connection on their lan ports). Is this possible?
I tried disabling the WAN address. But when I point my pc to the N66U (as a default gateway), I get this error page about WAN disconnection. I tried disabling the error page in WAN settings in the web interface, but it made no difference. I have set up a script in jffs to add a route to the primary router along with a nameserver setting in resolv.conf and the router itself can resolve addresses without any problems. It is the client part that has got me stumped.
