The "Get Code" button generates a 12 digit activation code that can be used to link devices to a user's My Cloud account. The 12 digit code expires after 48 hours if not used.

Does the device stay connected when it was used within those 48 hours?

Can I mount MyCloud as a network share/disk under Windows 10? Or does it automaticly show up in My Computer? Or do I have to use the app for all access? :-(
