If you look at the router's tools menu, 5-8 are RTK. What does this mean?

Thank you in advance to everyone who answers.

The RT-AC88U has two separate switches: one built-in Broadcom switch, and an external Realtek switch, which handles the extra four ports.

Thanks for the respected Merlin answer.

Why are there 2 switches due to hardware limitations? (E.g. bandwidth) Or could the RTK do something else?

Because the builtin switch inside the BCM4708 only has four ports (plus one internal). A second switch is needed to increase the number to 8 ports.
