Will the D7800 get the ability to set device mode in a future firmware?

Hi,

As the subject says, will I be able to set the D7800 to behave like a modem only with some future firmware upgrade.

Yes, I know it doesn't sound like something people would want to do but this setting can make it much more convenient for me to test new firmware releases for other routers such as the D8000 or D7000, for example.

Yes...I'm running a beta FW version with device mode added.

I don't have the exact ETA for the public release with modem mode, but will check with engineering.
