Wireless 5ghz - Trouble shooting

When i first set up my router, I put the latest merlin firmware on and setup the dual band wireless. When using dlna programs to share files on my phone, I saw through the traffic manager that the 5ghz was being used. My problem now is that this band is not being used anymore even though I have it on.

Would someone trouble shoot met on how I can get this band to be utilized for my file sharing network? Or point me in the direction where I can find help.

Suggest you provide more info.
1. Which firmware version exactly do you use?
Latest Firmware has 5GHz issue, best use .260
2. Setup for 2.4GHz and 5GHz (20/40 MHz, which channel etc).
Some clients cant see all channels,
Some clients only support single channel
Encryption? Best use WPA2 AES ONLY
Avoid MAC address list filters, little value
3. SSID for both 2.4 and 5 GHz,
if they are the same it gets easliy confused
4. What client exacty are you using
