Wireless Scheduler

Hi All,
Two questions I am hoping everyone can help me with. I have Merlin installed and a wireless scheduler set up from 00:00-06:45 every night. - yes Tin hat wife.
1. Does the wireless scheduler propagate across the XD4 Mini AiMesh nodes (they have knowledge of the time) or does the main router just switch off and the AiMesh sit there trying to find a connection?
2. Do the wifi chips actually shut off or does it just hide the SSID and "pretend" to turn off? (if not - with the Merlin 'infinite' possibilities - as I have read)
