Wirelessly extending my internet

New Around Here
I need HELP extending my wireless internet

I am new here and understand somethings but need to speak in simple terms.

I own a property with 2 houses. I am trying to get wireless internet coverage in both homes. Main home has DSL coverage through Century Link. They are about a 150 feet apart with a clear line of site.

I currently have a netgear wifi range extender (WN2000RPT ver.2) connected and I am getting access but it does not stay connected. I can not move the extender closer since it isn't made for outdoors. Is there an outdoor device I can place between where the router is located and where the extender is.

I am also using a Linksys G router. Someone suggested getting an N. Will work? If so suggestions for a N router that will extend a stronger signal.

I am not oppose to buiding an antenna or buying something that isn't several hundreds of dollars.

I realise the best solution is to run CAT5 or CAT6 underground but my husband will not because that would require breaking up concrete.

I have looked at antenna's but it seems like most only operate 1 computer. I am very confused by this??

I also am not sure how these things hook up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
