Hi,
After unsuccessful attempts for WOL (wake on lan) from Internet (WOL from LAN works ok) because of the router dropping any directed broadcast (to 192.168.x.255), I was wondering if there isn't any backdoor command line interface to the WRT610N router, something Linksys engineers would use to debug or take entire control of the router ?
This is very usual among router manufacturers and I'd be surprised if it didn't exist on this one.
Actually all I'd like to do is to entering a static ARP entry so the router knows "always" the MAC @ of the PC to wake up. Otherwise, it has to ask through ARP request but since the PC is asleep, it wouldn't respond.
I know a solution requiring flashing with dd-wrt the firmware, but I'd like, if possible to not to do that.
thanks

P.S. I've read the excellent article on WOL in this site
