Xbox One - Do I have to forward ports?

I have a static IP on my Xbox One. Currently have that assigned as DMZ. But would like to not use DMZ. Do I have to manually configure ports on my Asus Router for my Xbox One / Xbox Live? Or will enabling UPNP on my router work?

If you only have the single Xbox One on your LAN/WLAN - you should be able to use uPNP without issues, you don't need to have it in the DMZ
