But...

it is possible to still use it to create the ipsets, just not possible to have it do routing for Wireguard. But once the ipsets are created/maintained they could be plugged into Wireguard Manager addon, like this:

but for using the firmware Wireguard, you will probably need to do it all manually for the time being.
