XT8 - AX6600. Mesh to single router

I have a set of 2 XT8’s setup as a mesh system. I’m curious what kind of performance I would get if I just use one, also enabling the 2nd 5G band. Since it won’t need the wireless backhhaul.
what would be the simplest way to accomplish this? Do I just turn off the satellite and make the 2nd 5G band available? Or is there something else I would need to do?

Yes.

You may need to also 'unhide' the second 5G SSID.
