New Around Here
Just installed 3 Asus ZenWifi AX6600/XT8 today. Looking pretty good so far - up to this point.

I want to enable IFTTT (having been unable to do so on the old RT-AC5300) - but the Web Interface does not even have the option. Its got 'Alexa' , but not IFTTT :-/

The Online blurb from Asus states that this model supports IFTTT ..
"Smart Looks for Smart Homes
ZenWiFi AX works perfectly with smart-home services — including Alexa skills and IFTTT — and is available in black or white to suit your décor."

The blurb then goes into detail about how to proceed with the IFTTT app https://www.asus.com/content/smart-home-ready/

This soon leads me to a link for activation back on my router (very familiar with this, having tried endlessly to get it working on my old router)...
Except the activation page on my router does not exist, and it gives a 404 error: http://router.asus.com/Advanced_Smart_Home_IFTTT.asp

FWIW I've ddns and 'enable access from WAN' both enabled, and tested.

Its a little bit concerning that the entire option seems to be removed!

My last desperate attempt was to try the Alexa activation code for IFTTT, that gave the error below ('Enable DDNS')

Please advise!

manythanks!

Apparently it requires you to have a domain name (which is what DDNS is for). You can use asus' service or any of the others to enable that. But honestly anything that requires web acccess from WAN is a no-no in my book. If you really want it, make sure both your username and password for router admin and your IFTTT are very strong, but even that is no guarantee.

yep. DDNS is configures and working. I can login https://########.asuscomm.com:8443/index.asp
(and UN/PWD are stupidly strong)

The issue here is that the IFTTT issuse does not appear to exist on the ax6600 - any anyone confim/refute this?
