How to configure a wireless router behind an ADSL Modem (in router mode)?

Could anyone pls advise on below proposed setup ? will it work fine or do i need to change the configuration setup ? any inputs are welcome.. thanks.

ADSL Modem in default PPPoE routing mode (Not bridge mode).
Home wireless router connects to the adsl modem LAN port.

See below proposed details:

ADSL Modem - D-link 520B
Mode --> Router
LAN IP --> 192.168.1.2
Subnet Mask --> 255.255.255.0
DHCP Server --> Disabled
2nd IP for LAN interface --> 192.168.1.1
NAT --> Enabled

Wireless Router - Tp-link Archer C7
Mode --> Router
WAN Connection Type --> Dynamic IP
LAN IP --> 192.168.1.1
Subnet Mask --> 255.255.255.0
DHCP Server --> Enabled
Gateway --> 192.168.1.2

First, which device do you want to be the router? You can put the DLink in bridge mode if you want. Does your IP use PPPoE login and if so do you know it? You can also cascade but you really need to state your objective. If you just want wifi, that's easier.
