From the changelog:
WTFast support was removed from the RT-AC88U, RT-AC3100 and RT-AC5300, as the precompiled components are incompatible with modern versions of curl (wtfast would crash at start on these models). Only Asus/WTFast can fix this.
You need WtFast, stick with Asus Official .

Already tried and still on it , and lan-wifi speed is correct with this beta buld from asus. If im going back to 21045 or 384.6 alpha, issue is back.
Reset to factory,initialize.. etc, nothing work. I ll stay on 21071 till next build base on

Yaya i know its not merlin fault,asus bug again, and again,and again......
Same here with 384.6 alpha , base on 384_21045, transfer rate is garbish now.
Tried many times with multiples Factory reset,initialyze, nada! This issue is knowed :

Sticking with 384.5
You need an intermediate fw before going to 384 version if coming from 376
Flash with 378.55 before and 384 after
* Edit:There is no AImesh in Merlin firmwares. This function is removed by Rmerlin
If you need Aimesh, its only available with stock fw.
