Mine's currently at 83C but has been as high as 90C. I'm not worried about it. I believe these chips are designed to run properly to as high as 120C.

My RT-AC68U has been running at cpu temps between 78-90° for more than 3 years with no issues. Most Broadcom ARM cpus have a TjMax of 120°C

The RT-AC86U will throttle and log it if it gets too high.
