    Two GT-AX11000 wired backhaul, can I use the 5GHz-2 on the node?

    What he is saying that when you select wired backhaul it still reserves the 2nd 5GHz band that is used for wireless backhaul. You never get that band back even with wired backhaul. It would be nice to have all 3 bands used the same way as the normal "Smart Connect" mode on both tri-band routers...

    Yeah I saw the 5GHz-2 channel as well, but its not a seamless as AiMesh to do it this way. Right now I changed the node (AC-5300) into AP mode instead of AiMesh, made both SSID's the same and can use all 3 bands on both my AX11000 and AC5300.     What sucks is that if you use a wired backhaul like I do you still do not get the 5GHz-2 band back to use for clients. It remains reserved for backhaul in case your wired backhaul fails. I think they could program it to give you your 2nd 5GHz network back and have a fail over if your ethernet...

    I just want my 2nd 5ghz bands back on my AX11000 and AC5300 while using ethernet backhaul. I swapped my AC5300 to AP to enable the 2nd band. It's better for the most part, but still not the same.
