I haven't had time to try it. I hope to find some time this weekend to try this and then report back if it worked out. Thanks again.

    double IP numbers with OpenVPN

I see what you mean. I will try to implement it the right way. Funny thing is, that this appeared since last update. Before that it worked without a glitch. Thnx for your tip! I am happy with link to the fixed IP for VPN too! I was looking for that some time and thought it could only be done by...

    Missing devices in client list

@ColinTaylor: nope no change there @john9527: these default to DHCP. When I use another router they are visible at once with an ip that fits inside the set range, even is is 10.0.0.0/24

    Missing devices in client list

How can I check if that is the case? I’ve never seen an ip address above .250 an haven’t set that myself as far as I known

    Missing devices in client list

I'm running Firmware 384.19 on my RT-AC68U and for quite a while I am missing devices in both "Networkmap / Clients" and in "Networkmap / View List". At first I thought it was because the devices were assigned a fixed IP, but that is not always the case I just noticed. The strange thing is...

With no entries in the "Allowed Clients" section, there is no valid connection possible. Checking...

    RT-AC68U no working OpenVPN

My kid thought it was funny to disable WiFi, but instead of pulling the power cord, she pressed the reset button and held it... After having a good laugh -not- I got stuck with a rather strange problem; Adding the devices back was done in a jiffy, but I cannot get the VPN to work again. What...

    pre-install OpenVPN question

thank you both for your reply! The OpenVPN-server is running on my Asus RT AC68U and the Synology DS115J is the client of the Asus RT AC68U. I'm going to check out the link you gave me @Martineau and will give it a try shortly!

    pre-install OpenVPN question

I recently bought an Asus RT AC68U router and it all seems to work fine, but has one nasty little habbit. I have a Synology DS214play NAS, which contains my data and a Synology DS115J at my parents house on which I store my backup. My local IP-ranges is 192.168.0.x, the IP-range at my parents...
