    Na! bought my laser multifunction Samsung USB printer in 2011 not in 1995 lol ... seriously don't know why they are not able to get this function over to the AiMesh node.

    Make sure to test your NODE router as a stand-alone router for their LAN ports functionalities. Make sure you connect the NODE WAN port cable to the Main Lan port (or via wifi) Make sure you double check the connection of your NAS on the NODE, double check if you didn't block it.     For a better of your current WIFI performance, your AiMesh-Node (AC86U) should be connected via wire (backhaul) and yes the Lan ports on the Node are all working and Free since you connect to thw Node WAN port and not Lan port from the Main (Lan port)

    Aimesh with AX86u and AC88u not working

    Reset your Node to default, connect it (Wan) to the Main router (LAN), power it off. Start search from main and now power on the Node, once connected and added, unconnected the cable from the node. Power it off, move it to the location you want and power it on, it should reconnect via Wifi.

    Use USB stick to update to Merlin?

    I've been update the firmware via Wifi for many year without any issue as Asus do have a rescue mode if the update went wrong, but i guess the USB update will work, when in the firmware update page, you just have to point the new firmware on the usb.

    I think as @drabisan mentioned, the AiMesh v2.0 don't have the "Network Printer Server" under "USB Application" on node and therefore it's Not possible to enable Printing on the node (just yet).
