This looks great! I noticed one of the reviews says this fan did not fit on the AC2900 (AC86u). Can you confirm you are using this fan as intended by snapping in place on a RT-AC86u? I just wanted to check before placing an order. Any idea how many degrees this dropped your CPU temperature...

It seems the ethernet cable was the issue. I replaced with a Cat 6 and got the blue light (1000 Full Duplex) from the modem immediately. Thanks for all the guidance everyone!

I first tried the ASUS stock firmware and received the amber light with the RT-AC66R. I have another RT-AC66R coming this week along with a couple CAT 6 cables so will try to switch them out and see what I discover. Odd indeed!!!

Same exact modem setup as rodriguezd but using a RT-AC66R here. I am on Comcast with an SB6141 modem (HW v7) connected through IPV6 with firmware SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.10-SCM00-NOSH, boot version PSPU-Boot(25CLK) 1.0.12.18m3. I am bonded on 8 channels as well. Still receiving the neighbor table...
