Release Asuswrt-Merlin 386.1 is now available

This looks great! I noticed one of the reviews says this fan did not fit on the AC2900 (AC86u). Can you confirm you are using this fan as intended by snapping in place on a RT-AC86u? I just wanted to check before placing an order. Any idea how many degrees this dropped your CPU temperature...

Best setup for the Asus RT-AC68U (ACTUALIZED to 2019)

I am using a ASUS RT-AC86U and have a question on the best practices. "1. Disable Universal/Implicit Beamforming on both bands in the Wireless/Professional pages" In my settings, I have the following two seperate options for 2.4Ghz >> Explicit Beamforming and Universal Beamforming. Is...

    [Thread-1] [ 386.1_Alpha Build(s) ] Testing available build(s)

Flashed my AC68U with Merlin 386.1 Alpha "3.1" from Beta Asus 386.40947. IPv6 was working with no issues using Native (Xfinity Cable) and I could see my LAN IPv6 Address in the Asus IPv6 tab with Asus Beta firmware However, with Merlin Alpha firmware, I can no longer see my LAN IPv6 Address in...

    Asus RT-AC66R & Motorola SB6141 Combo - Amber light

It seems the ethernet cable was the issue. I replaced with a Cat 6 and got the blue light (1000 Full Duplex) from the modem immediately. Thanks for all the guidance everyone!

    Asus RT-AC66R & Motorola SB6141 Combo - Amber light

I first tried the ASUS stock firmware and received the amber light with the RT-AC66R. I have another RT-AC66R coming this week along with a couple CAT 6 cables so will try to switch them out and see what I discover. Odd indeed!!!

    Asus RT-AC66R & Motorola SB6141 Combo - Amber light

No luck unfortunately but I appreciate the help. It's strange because I have tried setting the RT-AC66R and the RT-N66R next to each other and trade off plugging the ethernet from the modem into each router in succession. Each time the SB6141 when plugged into the RT-N66R is blue (1000 Full...

    Asus RT-AC66R & Motorola SB6141 Combo - Amber light

Thanks for the tip but no success. I even unplugged all the cables on the cable modem for 15 minutes and reset without success. Still getting the amber light on the SB6141 when plugged into the RT-AC66R. I wonder if the WAN port could be defective on the RT-AC66R? Will try the Cat 6 cable...

    Asus RT-AC66R & Motorola SB6141 Combo - Amber light

Looking for any guidance on this issue since I have literally spent hours and hours trying to identify the problem and surfing the web looking for answers. I own a Motorola SB6141 modem and have Comcast Blast internet (50MB down/10MB up). I have been using a RT-N66R router until recently...

Same exact modem setup as rodriguezd but using a RT-AC66R here. I am on Comcast with an SB6141 modem (HW v7) connected through IPV6 with firmware SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.10-SCM00-NOSH, boot version PSPU-Boot(25CLK) 1.0.12.18m3. I am bonded on 8 channels as well. Still receiving the neighbor table...
