HI, Ubuntu/Linux comes out of the box with a CLI - I use Terminator. I log in via SSH with my private key, the public one is entered into the respective field in the GUI, as I always did. Timeout is set to 20 minutes but even disabling it doesn't make a difference. I seems to be something else...

So I did some tests here. My situation is with LIFX bulbs/beams. It seems your approach works for the beam (no legacy for 2.4 but connected via guest) but not for the bulb. Hmm, undecided.

I did set up the router anew. Now I got the guest networks working. A few other kinks instead. I can't get the file manager to work properly for uploading different icons. And on the CLI I get kicked out after 10 secs idling. (Timeout)

I was wondering if I can downgrade a guest network to Legacy while keeping N for main wifi. Why would I be interested in such a setup: I got LIFX bulbs that need legacy settings to not loose connectivity… Any ideas … thanks
