Multiple DNS over TLS (DoT) per device or network?

I currently have a DoT server configured on my RT-AC68U (Merlin) router's WAN, and all clients on my network are using it without any issues. However, I now need certain clients to use a different DoT server. As configuring DoT directly on these devices is not possible, I need help setting up a...

    Reinstalling DNSCrypt2 (Solved)

Hello! I'm not sure if this is the proper place to ask this, and if it isn't, I apologize. I've seem to run into an issue where, using Kamoj's excellent addon, I get the error message "DNSCrypt v2 is not running, but is enabled" under DNSCrypt v2 Servers on my R7800. No problem. Searching...

What are you running? DNSCrypt or Unbound?

What do you run on your router? Unbound or DNSCrypt? (or both?) It would also be good to know why you use/ recommend one over the other? I am aware that some people run DNSCrypt, Unbound or both on Raspberry Pi along with Pi-Hole. Would also like to have feedback from such users on the same...

    Or is it redundant? Thanks!

Combining Diversion + Dnscrypt + OpenVPN

Any way to use these three combined, routing Dnscrypt through OpenVPN with Diversion hosts blocking? I've seen the article on ab-solution + OpenVPN, at best will cause DNS leaks. But dnscrypt already has it covered... can these be combined?

Trend Micro's features in conjunction with dnscrypt?

Currently running John's beta for the newer versions of the RT-AC68U, which works great, but it lacks the later added functionality of Trend Micro's AIProtection. Now I'm having doubts whether I'll stick with the LTS fork or whether I should return to @RMerlin's updated base, after reading these...

PiHole - DNSCrypt/DNSSEC support (along with other things)

Pihole is a caching DNS server based on DNSMasq that allows for DNS based ad-blocking and other items - need to blacklist a site, pihole can do this.... pihole runs great on a RPi2 with Rasbian Jessie - definitely worth a look - even without the ad-block features, it has a strong logging...
