3.0.0.4.382_50470 and Remote Access configuration RT-N66U

I always keep my firmware up to date and recently updated to version 3.0.0.4.382_50470

However I found that for some reason I was unable to log into WAN administration

Looking into things it would appear that at some point recently the config only always HTTPS, this certainly was not the case when I last used it some to earlier this year. Also I found that I had to change the port as it still reports that the port I normally use is already in use.

I have also found since the latest upgrade that the router is not as stable as it has been of late.

When I get a free weekend I will clear NVRAM and configure fresh but I thought I would just share my experience and see if anyone else has noticed this

http support for remote management was removed because it was highly insecure.

Note that https remote management should still be considered insecure and not be used.
