Dirty upgrade my 86U (AP) and AX58U and see no immediate issues.
Thanks for the wireless log fix.

Dirty upgrade from 384.17 on one of my RT-AC5300 routers to test the waters. So far everything stabile.
Same here...smoooth as silk, so far!
Noticed that the update for the AC3200 wasn't available. Looking forward to that drop as well...

New Builds.

384.18 (xx-xxx-2020)
...
- UPDATED: Merged SDK + binary blobs from 384_81846 for RT-AC86U.
...

There was never a 384_81846 FW for the AC86U. Is this supposed to be 81858? Or maybe 81352 since its the latest GNU GPL release for the AC86U on the ASUS website?

Well, there's a Version 3.0.0.4.384.81918 now too. However IIRC, the GPL releases don't always line up with actual release builds.

Updated AX88 and AC68 (as a network mesh node) everything works well.
Why is there no firmware for the AC88? Any problems with him?

Hey Eric,

Hope all is well,

I wonder why the AC5300 isn’t merged woth 81902?

I'm not sure if I'm just dumb, but I don't see the "Game Boost" option anymore. Anyone else experiencing this?

It has been a long week so forgive me if I completely missed the post after searching, but why is the AC88 excluded from this alpha at this point?

Because there's no updated GPL available yet, and the last GPL release for it is not compatible with the code used for all other models.

No, 384_81846 is accurate. It's the most up to date GPL I received from Asus for that model.

Game Boost is totally useless.

Show me the 81902 source code.

That "source code" is a firmware, not actual source code. Look at the size.

And for the download you get only "RT-AC87U_384.13_8-gaf00569f60" from 4h ago, but inside in the Changelog 384.13_9 is mentioned and no 3200 option at all??!
Anyone?
Do I flash the 384.13_8-gaf00569f60 or is it a wrong one and older than my current 384.13_8, or I wait for the true 384.13_9?

Thanks. Presumably 81846 is very similar to 81856, and considering that 81856 is generally well-liked for the AC86U, I might have to try this alpha.

Those are alpha, development builds. The changelog itself is also "in development"...
Aha OK  thanks', so the 384.13_8-gaf00569f60 is newer ;)
Will flash it and give it a try now.

Dirty Flash on RT-AX58u:

-QoS bandwidth limit still dont work: In theory (according to Asus) the 8563 base code solved the QoS limit problem. It still does not work, it does not matter the value that is established in both the download or upload (at least in fq_codel)
-For me, AiProtection is still totally broken, no modules work, is not about logging, simply, dont work

Flashed to 384.13_8-gaf00569f60, all seems fine for now.
Thanks @RMerlin for thinking about us (87-3200) :)

Just updated to the latest Alpha 1. Thanks @Merlin working good. AX58U
