Turning this into a full time job for me huh?I've heard arguments both ways on whether or not the control channel matters when using a 80 MHz channel bandwidth. I will at the minimum run some tests on the lower group and the upper group and look for any differences.
I was surprised to see a difference with an 80 MHz channel width, although it wasn't a big difference and was only apparent at greater distances from the router. Just to be clear, I only looked at link rate and link quality information. I did not attempt any data transfers.
