AC88U Samba Stability

Hi

Anybody experiencing issues with latest official firmware and samba? Sometimes when playing movies they stick and other times devices just disconnect. I have a USB drive attached. tried both USB ports.

Never had any problems with teh AC87U.

Same problem here (firmware - merlin 380.68). 2.5 USB 2.0 External 1TB HDD in USB 3.0 and 3.5 External 640 GB HDD with own power adapter in USB 2.0. New ASUS routers is sucks and lags.

What file system on the drives? I have found ext3 uses less memory than NTFS during file transfer. Have had one case of a router reboot with heavy file transfer NTFS drive AC66U B1.

Both drives with NTFS.
